Music Tots

Cheerful music sessions for babies and toddlers

Singing, dancing, playing musical instruments and having lots of fun!
Sessions are tailored to develop children's sense of rhythm, pitch, melody, language and social skills.  
The sessions are informal and friendly. No need to book just drop-in and let’s make music!

Saturdays at Mossley Community Centre

9.20am – 10.00am Music Babies (pre-walkers)

10.20am – 11.05am Music Tots (confident walkers – 4 years old)

 £3 per child, £1 per sibling

Followed by coffee and free play time

Sessions are run by classically trained music teacher.
The aim of Music Tots is to:

• develop children's sense of rhythm and rhyme
• promote social skills
• allow children to experiment through play using instruments
• encourage children to use their body to perform actions and dance to songs
• use songs and instruments to develop children's imaginations
• develop an awareness of pitch and tempo through songs and instruments
• reinforce learning of numbers and counting through songs
• explore traditional and modern songs
• encourage children to sing simple songs from memory
